The latest story trailer for Monolith’s upcoming Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor introduces the Uruk Orc Ratbag.

As illustrated in the trailer (above), Ratbag is little more than an Uruk punching bag, both among his kind and for Talion. But at least, in collaboration with Talion, he’s a punching bag with purpose. Over the course of his journey, Talion can help Ratbag rise from grunt to glorious War Chief, putting him in a position to backstab and break down the Uruk forces from within and give Talion an edge (though, the former Ranger’s already imbued with Wraith powers, so I’m unsure how much more of an edge he needs in Middle-life).

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor launches on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, and Xbox 360 September 30 and Windows PC October 2.
