Let’s face it: Leave It to Beaver wasn’t the funniest show ever made. But at least it was better than any sitcom the Nazis would have produced.

In the latest trailer for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, Bethesda continues its recent theme of live-action examples of what a Nazi-occupied 1960s American media landscape would have looked like. This time, we get a look at a black-and-white (but mostly white) family sitcom called Trust In Brother, in which little brother Ronny gets an important life-lesson from big brother Dale: “Good nutrition is a matter of state security.” What a punchline.

Trust In Brother is another extended clip from Wolfenstein II‘s E3 2017 reveal trailer, so expect to see more trailers featuring Nazi action figures and Nazi Saturday morning cartoons in the next couple of months, leading up to the game’s October 27th launch on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

In the meantime, you can get a sneak peek at some of Wolfenstein II‘s gory gameplay by checking out our hands-on demo.

Michael Goroff has been gaming for almost three decades. He's a lover of all games and systems, but he mostly plays Xbox. That being said, if he's a fanboy, he's a fanboy for the game industry as a whole. Spit white-hot fanboy hate at him, trash talk his Gold II rank on Rocket League, or maybe just send him a cordial hello on Twitter @gogogoroff.

Latest Wolfenstein II trailer shows why Nazis shouldn’t write sitcoms

Because if anything gets us hyped up for killing Nazis, it's a laugh track.
