THE BUZZ: NG.DEV Team has released a new trailer for Gun Lord, their “Eurostyle” platform shooter coming soon to the Neo Geo and Dreamcast.

EGM’s TAKE: No, seriously—it’s coming to two beloved yet long-dead consoles. When you talk about making “hardcore” games, it doesn’t get much more hardcore than that folks.

I wish I could justify buying Gun Lord for the Neo Geo, but at this point, spending $575 on the game unfortunately is something I couldn’t get away with—even when thinking about the awesomeness I’d feel in doing so. $55 for the Dreamcast version, however, would be a little easier to swallow.

I don’t care, though—NG:DEV Team are awesome for making Gun Lord. Long live the Dreamcast and Neo Geo!
