Nintendo of America has announced the official release date of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD.

The HD update will be available for Wii U on October 4 in North America and in Europe on the same day. The game will feature updated graphics, an improved gameplay experience, and support off-TV play via the GamePad.

A new item called the Tingle Bottle will allow players to interact with the Miiverse community by writing messages in-game and then throwing the bottle into the sea. The bottle will then wash up in other players’ games.
