Lego Dimensions

An update is headed to Lego Dimensions, and the rumor mill’s already making guesses about which new franchises will be added to the game.

According to some unnamed sources of news outlet Press Start, Lego Dimensions will soon encompass the worlds and characters from Sonic the Hedgehog, Harry Potter, Fantastic Beasts & Where to Find Them, Adventure Time, the new Ghostbusters, the Mission Impossible film series, Teen Titans, The Powerpuff Girls, Gremlins, and The Goonies.

Partially backing up these rumors is a clip from a now-pulled promotional video. The original version of the video briefly featured a background character that many fans suspect to be Gizmo, the lovable mogwai from Gremlins. The promo was re-released with the clip of Gizmo cut out.

There’s been no official word on the appearance of new franchises, though, so take the rumors with a grain of salt. More news on the future of Lego Dimensions is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, on Thursday, June 9th.
