Life is Strange 2 teaser hints at new protagonist's powers

Life is Strange 2 has just gotten a teaser trailer, and the mysteries surrounding the game have only gotten deeper.

The teaser trailer is set from the point of view of a cop’s dash cam. We hear chatter on the radio as the car drives up and parks beside a house, and the officer reports a “10-10” (that’s code for a fight in progress). From there, well, things get weirder—and we can only assume that more of the mysterious powers that seem to inhabit the Life is Strange universe are at play.

According to the teaser trailer, more information will be revealed on August 20th. As of right now, we don’t know much more about the game. While we know it’s set in the same universe as the first game, and the free-to-play tie-in chapter The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit had a few connections with the first game, we don’t know anything about who the main characters are or what the plot will be.

Either way, we’ll find out more soon. The first chapter of the game launches in less than two months. We’ll get our first real glimpse of Life is Strange 2 when t releases on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 27th. More chapters will release episodically at later dates.
