Amazon U.K. has updated its pre-order page for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII with a narrowed down release date for the game.

The company updated the listing with a March 29, 2013 release date, of course this is probably just a placeholder, but it gives fans something to aim at and does suggest an early 2013 release. Lightning Returns is the last entry into the Lightning saga and features the Final Fantasy XIII heroine in a race against a 13 day doomsday clock.

Famitsu reported last month that the game is currently 30 percent complete so a March 2013 release might be pushing it a bit, but only time will tell.
