The Legend of Zelda

There?s no Navi, Midna, or King of Red Lions working alongside Link in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, but that doesn?t mean he?s always a lone wolf. If you have the Wolf Link Amiibo that came packaged with The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, simply tap it on Link?s new Sheikah Slate to have Wolf Link appear by your side.

In Breath of the Wild, Wolf Link proves to be a powerful partner, fighting alongside you to take down enemies. He can sniff out prey and meat in the world to help Link hunt and survive. You can summon him once per real-life day, and he’ll stick by Link?s side until his health runs out.

Wolf Link is definitely the Link from Twilight Princess, not just a random canine companion?he?s even got the chain around his ankle from Link?s castle escape in the beginning of that game. Even better, he?s your Wolf Link, not just a generic summon. If the Amiibo?s been synced up with your Twilight Princess HD save file, Wolf Link will appear with the same number of hearts you?ve unlocked for him in that game.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is expected to release in March 2017 for the Wii U and Nintendo?s upcoming console, the NX.
