Little Big Planet

Sony has detailed LittleBigPlanet 2‘s upcoming DC Comics DLC Season Pass, which will grant access to two Premium Level Packs and four Costume Packs at a discounted price.

This week players will be able to download the DC Comics Premium Level Pack for LittleBigPlanet 2 and DC Comic Costume Pack One. The Premium Level Pack includes a new power-up, The Hero Cape, which allows Sackboy/Sackgirl to glide long distances and perform aerial acrobatics, the Wall Jump Surface Material and the Wall Jump Material Tweaker, allowing creators to add wall-jumps to their levels, and The Memoriser, which allows players to save their progress in a level so they can return another day. The pack also contains new materials, objects, decorations, music and a new background.

The Premium Level Pack also includes two bonus costumes allowing Sackboy/Sackgirl to dress up as either Cyborg or Cheetah. These two costumes can also be transferred over to LittleBigPlanet PS Vita or LittleBigPlanet Karting, if you own either title.

DLC Comic Costume Pack One will also be available this week, and includes costumes of Superman, Lex Luthor, Supergirl, Brainiac, and Bizarro.

The DC Comics DLC Season Pass will cost £19.99 in Europe, and players will be granted access to each pack as it becomes available. As well as the Premium Level Pack for LittleBigPlanet 2 and Costume Pack One, players will also gain access to three other Costume Packs, containing five costumes each, and the DC Comics Premium Level Pack for LittleBigPlanet PlayStation Vita, which will contain an exclusive costume.
