LittleBigPlanet 2 Update 1.12 Detailed

THE BUZZ: Media Molecule has detailed udpdate 1.12 for LittleBigPlanet 2 that will be going live this week.
Update 1.12 brings several tweaks to the game’s community features.
“The Dive-In feature has now been moved to the top of the Community menu, and has been vastly rewired and improved to help players easily find some new Sackfolk to play with during their adventures,” according to the developer.
The update also removes the ‘Boo’ option from the feedback system as it was ”disheartening at best, and could be used to cause grief amongst the community.”
Creators now have the option to disable reviews on their profile via the settings section of LBP.me.
EGM’s TAKE: The Dive-In feature is an important tool for LittleBigPlanet players as it allows them to quickly find players to have fun and create with. However, it could be a bit finicky at times and not connect the right people together. These new changes should mean that more people will make use of this brilliant feature. We personally feel that having a ‘Boo’ feature in any voting system is a risky move, as it just encourages griefers and as Media Molecule says, it’s very demoralizing. Well done to them for biting the bullet and removing it.
