Loadout Presets being added to Battlefield 4 today

Posted on April 8, 2014 AT 03:19am

DICE has announced that Battlefield 4 players will be able to take advantage of preset loadouts following today’s Battlelog update.

This new feature will allow players to select complete preset kits via Battlelog, eliminating the need to individually edit each slot to change a loadout. “Loadout Presets are a way to save kit or vehicle setups so that you can easily switch between them when going into a Battlefield 4 multiplayer match,” the developer explained.

“With this time-saving feature, you no longer have to edit each slot individually in the Customize screen when you want to change your Loadout. Note that Loadout Presets will only be available on Battlelog in Battlefield 4, and not be reflected in-game. You apply Presets to your Loadout, which then follows you in-game when you save it.”

Players can access loadout presets via Battlelog as well as its mobile and tablet apps. Two loadouts are available for each kit (four if you are a Premium member), and custom names can be selected for each. Players can either choose to switch between presets in-game or via the Battlelog app between matches.
