Resogun gained local co-op, a ship editor, additional trophies, and a Hall of Fame restart to its leaderboards for free during the weekend, XDEV producer Ian Pickles announced.
Using the voxel-based ship editor, Resogun owners can now create their own playable ship, share their designs online, and download others’ designs. The local co-op, which developer Housemarque teased back in April, I suspect is self-explanatory.
As for the Hall of Fame, because of “sneaky exploits” discovered by players that have since been fixed—no doubt to some protest—Housemarque decided to wipe the leaderboards clean. Before doing so, however, they added Hall of Fame “to immortalize the original Resogun Heroes.”
Beyond the free update, Pickles also promised more news on the Heroes Expansion pack “in a couple of days.”
Resogun launched alongside the PlayStation 4 last November.
