Mad Catz have announced that they’ll release the F.R.E.Q.⁷ Surround Sound Gaming Headset in fiscal 2014.

Compatible with PCs, Smart Phones, and tablets, the F.R.E.Q.⁷ boasts 7.1 surround sound (though you can switch to stereo when listening to music), has multiple EQ settings for different things, and a removable cable so you can easily switch between a headset jack to a USB.

It also comes with a desktop stand and will be available in gloss white, gloss black, matte black, and gloss red.
