Madden NFL

Madden NFL 19 already debuted this year’s 99 Club and the rest of its player ratings, and now it’s finally unveiled its cover athlete.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown will grace the cover of Madden NFL 19‘s standard edition and the updated mobile game Madden NFL Overdrive, having leapfrogged from a 97 overall rating in Madden NFL 18 to this year’s 99 Club.

“I am beyond honored to be on the cover of both Madden games,” Brown said in a press release. “There’s a lot of milestones athletes dream of, and after being inducted into the Madden 99 Club earlier this year, and now appearing on the cover of this year’s games, it’s clear that business is not just booming, but I’m also among the all-time greatest with these honors.”

Clearly, making the cover of Madden has humbled Brown, who’s as well known for his touchdown dances as he is for his numbers on the field, beyond words.

Another wide receiver with no shortage of self-confidence, Terrell Owens, will feature on the cover of Madden NFL 19‘s Hall of Fame edition, which will grant players access to the full game three days early, plus 12 Gold Team Fantasy Packs, Antonio Brown as an Elite player, and two All-Madden Uniforms.

Madden NFL 19 launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on August 10th.
