EA Sports released a new gameplay trailer for Madden NFL 25‘s PS4 and Xbox One versions that highlights new next-gen features Player Sense and War in the Trenches.
“With Player Sense, players are aware of what’s going on around them and they do appropriate actions,” creative director Rex Dickson says in the video. “Running line of sight, checks on the ground, they’re actually checking what’s on the ground ahead of them.”
Player Sense ramps up intuitive player behavior in Madden NFL 25 through 50x the contextual calculations of previous Madden games, and when combined with True Step helps create what the developers at EA Tiburon feel are “the most organic, user-driven outcomes in franchise history.”
War in the Trenches adds four times the amount of decisions linemen make per second, along with 300 new blocking animations. With War in the Trenches, offensive linemen can identify the “Mike” linebacker and evaluate the biggest defensive threats on the fly.
Madden NFL 25 launches on PlayStation 4 November 12, Xbox One November 19. Check out Marc’s review of the current-gen version to learn more about what players can fundamentally expect from the next-gen versions.
