Wizards of the Coast has today announced that Magic 2014: Duels of the Planeswalkers will be going live this summer.

The game will feature cards from the recently announced Magic 2014 core set and will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, iPad, and for the first time Android.

“The Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers franchise has been engaging and exciting gamers since we launched in 2009 and continues to be the best way for new players to learn how to play Magic,” said Worth Wollpert, Executive Producer of Magic: The Gathering at Wizards of the Coast. “This year, with the addition of a fifth platform – Android – along with new features and a more focused integration between online and offline play, we continue to deliver a best-in-class gaming experience.”

Magic 2014 includes a new storyline, 10 new decks, 15 encounters, 10 puzzle challenges, and a brand new game mode. You can check out the announcement trailer and some screenshots below.
