THE BUZZ: Wizards of the Coast has announced that Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 will be releasing this summer for iPad, PSN, XBLA and Steam.

The game will arrive alongside the 2013 set of Magic the Gathering trading cards. Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 offers 10 new decks and a new optional mana tapping system.

EGM’s TAKE: As far as trading card video games go, Duels of the Planeswalkers is probably the most polished and best representation of the game its based on. The rules are simple and easy to pick up, anyone can understand the game’s basics after simply playing the short tutorial, but mastering it will take time and dedication.
