Major Square Enix Title Porting To Wii U Via Mass Effect 3 Devs

Posted on October 15, 2012 AT 11:25am

One of Square Enix’s major franchises is getting ported to the Nintendo Wii U by the same team that worked on the Wii U version of Mass Effect 3, developer Straight Right. But which one?

NeoGAF picked up on the news from the LinkedIn profile of Straight Right employee Chris Slater, who’s recent work history tipped off the presence of an incoming Wii U port.

According to the profile, it’s a project that’s only been in the works since June this year.

Straight Right has already announced that two more Wii U games are currently on deck for the studio, with one being an original property—so that Square Enix port is likely to be Hitman Absolution, Sleeping DogsDeus Ex: Human Revolution, or the Tomb Raider reboot that’s been delayed until March 2013.
