Man Charged Over Theft of RuneScape Coins

Sometimes in life you have to step back and think did that really happen? This is one of those times. 19 year old Humza Bajwa has been charged with the theft of 4.7 billion RuneScape coins after pulling a fake gun on the seller.
David Emani and Jonathan Dokler of Fordham University agreed to sell their RuneScape coins to Bajwa for $3,300. Bajwa thought he would be clever and fool the pair with counterfeit notes, but when Emani saw through his plan, Bajwa pulled a gun on him and forced him to call Dokler to tell him to make the transfer.
The pair apparently met twice to make the transaction, the first time Emani spotted the fake money and told Bajwa that the deal wasn’t going to happen. Bajwa made an excuse to leave and set up a second deal for the following night. This time he arrived once again with the counterfeit money, but this time had a real $100 note with which to trick the seller. Emani compared the real note to the rest of the money and once again discovered it was all fake, however this time Bajwa decided to pull a realistic looking BB gun on Emani and forced him to call his partner telling him to make the transfer. He then fled the scene without stealing anything else, he even left the real $100 note behind.
“I couldn’t believe I was about to get shot over RuneScape! I was so scared I was about to die,” said Emani. Surveillance footage helped catch Bajwa who has now been charged with second degree robbery and grand larceny, with bail set at $20,000. If convicted he could face up to 15 years in prison.
