The Limited Edition of Mario Kart 8 will include an actual Spiny Shell, Nintendo has announced.

The collector’s item comes with a black display stand. The Limited Edition was announced via Nintendo’s UK YouTube page, but no details have been revealed about a North American release.

Mario Kart’s Spiny Shell, also known as the Blue Shell, is an in-game item that seeks out the player in first place once fired.

Mario Kart 8 is set to release May 30 for Wii U and the Limited Edition will be available on the same day.
