The trailer begins at Sunshine Airport, which features both runway and terminal sections, and then moves onto a course which sees baby versions of the characters racing. Other courses shown off include a jungle track, a desert track, and a track set in the clouds.
Nintendo also announced that Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy will be a playable racer in Mario Kart 8. Rosalina was also confirmed as the latest addition to Super Smash Bros.’ roster.
