Mark of the Ninja Devs Announce Turn-Based Tactical Espionage Title ‘Incognita’

Posted on July 2, 2013 AT 11:27am

Mark of the Ninja, Don’t Starve, and Shank developer Klei Entertainment announced their next game, Incognita, today.

Incognita is described as a “turn-based tactical espionage” title largely inspired by XCOM. And like XCOM, elements such as permadeath will be a part of Klei’s latest project.

“In the majority of turn-based games, positioning is your number one priority,” Klei founder Jamie Cheng told IGN. “From our standpoint, we wanted to make a game where information is one of the key things that you want.”

Fans of Klei’s work are invited to sign up at the game’s official website for future updates about Incognita. No platforms or release window have been announced.
