Gazillion Entertainment has kicked off a new event for Marvel Heroes Omega that includes content based on Marvel’s Defenders.

The event sees players facing off against members of The Hand for a variety of limited-time rewards.

As well as this new event, players can now purchase Elektra as a new playable character. The character is exclusive to the Elektra Packwhich includes Elektra, a bonus costume, two Marvelous Loot Boxes, and two XP boostsfor 30 days. Players looking to buy her with in-game currency will have to wait.

Finally, the developer revealed that the Omega Prestige system will be added to the console version of the game “soon.” This system allows players to unlock “Omega Prestige” status for select heroes, extending the leveling process considerably. The first hero eligible for this new system will be Spider-Man, with more heroes being added at a later date.

Marvel Heroes Omega is available now as a free download on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
