Mass Effect 3‘s next multiplayer DLC, titled Earth, has been given an official release date for Xbox 360.
The game’s third multiplayer expansion will be available to download for free on July 17. PC and PlayStation 3 dates are yet to be announced, but expect them to be around the same time. The date was officially revealed by Xbox Live’s Major Nelson, A.K.A. Larry Hryb, in the latest Xbox Live content schedule.
Developer BioWare is yet to officially announce the DLC, but is expected to do so at Comic-Con this weekend. A product listing for the DLC appeared last month, promising three new maps and six classes.
“Mass Effect 3: Earth: The fighting is fiercest when it’s your home at stake! Mass Effect 3: Earth adds mods, gear, and new maps for Rio, Vancouver, and London. It features three new weapons: Piranha assault shotgun, Acolyte pistol and Typhoon light machine gun. Six new human N7 classes are also available: Destroyer, Paladin, Demolisher, Slayer, Shadow and Fury!”
