Mass Effect 3 multiplayer demo access included with Battlefield 3

THE BUZZ: In an un-boxing video for the limited edition of Battlefield 3 on YouTube, an interesting bonus is revealed: the inclusion of access to an upcoming multiplayer demo for Mass Effect 3.

The text on the included flyer states the following:

Join Us in the War to Take Back Earth!

You’ve been granted EARLY ACCESS TO THE MULTIPLAYER PORTION of the Mass Effect 3 demo.

Watch the Battlefield 3 in-game ticker for the early access demo date announcement in January 2012, or sign up at www.masseffect.com to receive notification.

As an EXTRA BONUS, you can immediately access Mass Effect 3 N7 dog tags in Battlefield 3 multiplayer matches!

EGM’s TAKE: So, it sounds like a Mass Effect 3 demo that features both single-player and multiplayer will be coming our way at some point early next year. Good to know! I, however, will probably skip any sort of demo for the game—I’d rather just jump into the full version without anything already spoiled for me.
