Mass Effect 3 Operation Resurgence Event This Weekend

THE BUZZ: BioWare has announced that the Resurgence Event will be taking place in Mass Effect 3 this weekend.

Anyone who owns the Resurgence DLC pack and plays online this weekend will be granted a free Reserves Pack, guaranteed to unlock one of the new characters available with the DLC. Players will also be granted a 10% experience bonus while playing on either of the two new maps, Firebase Condor or Firebase Hydra.

The Operation will run from Friday, April 13th at 5PM PST to Monday, April 16th 5AM PST on Xbox 360 and PC. PlayStation 3 owners will not be able to take part this weekend due to Sony not approving the promotion.

Remember to set “Upload Gameplay Feedback” to “On” in the online options to be able to participate in the operation.

EGM’s TAKE: BioWare seems to be keeping up with its new weekend event system, how long it will last is yet to be seen. But, if you’re a fan of the multiplayer then you may as well continue logging in for some free items and bonus experience. It’s a downer for PlayStation 3 owners that they can’t participate, Sony just seems to want to keep fighting BioWare on this promotion.
