THE BUZZ: EA has announced that an upgrade to Mass Effect 3′s multiplayer component will be coming this week, in the form of a new Resurgence DLC pack.
The pack adds two new maps (Firebase Condor and Firebase Hydra), new unlockable weapons and new playable characters including the Asari Justicar, Batarian, Geth, and Krogan Battlemaster.
Resurgence will be available from April 10 on Xbox Live, PlayStation 3 and PC.
You can check out the trailer below for a closer look.
EGM’s TAKE: Many people have already played through all that Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer component has to offer, so they will be very pleased to see this new DLC. The two new maps should keep them entertained for a while, and with several new characters and weapons there will be plenty to do in terms of leveling. What makes this DLC even better is the fact that it is free, so no Mass Effect fan can grumble about the price.
What else would you like added to multiplayer in the future? Leave your thoughts below.
