THE BUZZ: BioWare has released a brand new Mass Effect 3 trailer focusing on the game’s multiplayer component.

EGM’s TAKE: The trailer takes a look at the various classes that are playable in the game, and there’s a lot: everything from Human to Krogan is available. Pick your species and then design your own character to enter the Mass Effect world with. It appears that your team of four will be able to embark on missions together as part of an elite task force, sent in to secure zones and destroy the crazy amount of creatures that inhabit them. Commander Shepard even makes an appearance to brief you of your mission before you’re sent in. Adding multiplayer was always going to be a risky move, however if this trailer is anything to go by then fans have nothing to worry about. In case you’re still not convinced, you will be able to test out the multiplaier in the upcoming Mass Effect 3 demo.
