Mass Effect 3 Wii U Includes ‘From Ashes’ DLC, New Ending, Multiplayer Packs

Not every bit of DLC is going to be part of the Mass Effect 3: Special Edition release for the Nintendo Wii U, and now we have the solid, complete list of what’s included. At the very least, you still get a better ending.
As confirmed by Nintendo on the heels of all their Wii U announcements this week, the company established in a press release which content would be part of the port:
- Interactive backstory content
- “From Ashes” DLC Pack
- Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut
Developer Straight Right’s Wii U version of the game will at least save everyone some money, since the “From Ashes” pack is a worthwhile edition, giving you a unique squad-member and a high-powered Particle Rifle weapon.
Multiplayer content from Rebellion/Resurgence/Earth DLC packages will also be included with the Wii U port, as established earlier by Nintendo—although newer content like “Leviathan” and various promotional bonuses are apparently not going to be part of the deal. It’s still going to cost a pretty penny, especially now that Wii U games have a confirmed $60 baseline retail price for most releases, putting them in line with PS3 and Xbox 360 software.
Bummer. No matter what, it looks like Wii U users aren’t going to be catching many breaks with their wallets this season.
