A new update has been pushed live for Mass Effect: Andromeda, bringing the game up to version 1.07.
The single patch note for the update says that it includes “various bug fixes and stability improvements.” However, producer Michael Gamble took to twitter to explain that this is a small hotfix for the game that includes a fix for a crash with the SOS quest, a fix for UI placement issues at 1080p, and the ability to get the athletic outfit mid-playthrough.
It’s just a hotfix. 3 notable fixes. Athletic outfit available mid-playthrough, fixed a crash with the SOS quest. Fixed >1080p UI placement https://t.co/0Y0RZ7Rb5P

The last major update for Andromeda, 1.06, improved performance, made changes to a number of cinematics, rebalanced the game at higher difficulties, and made several changes to multiplayer balance.
Earlier this month, a rumor began circulating claiming that the Mass Effect series has been put on hiatus, so fans looking forward to a sequel will probably be waiting a long time.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
