THE BUZZ: Global Battlefield community manager Daniel Matros has revealed that the huge Battlefield 3 patch, already live on PC and PlayStation 3, will receive a release date for Xbox 360 this week.

When asked on Twitter by a fan when the patch would be releasing he replied: “Release date for X360 patch coming this week.”

EGM’s TAKE: We have no idea what the major hold up is for the Xbox 360 version of the patch is. It appears like Xbox 360 owners are going to have to wait at least another week, if it’s only the release date being announced. The patch fixes the majority of issues that players have had with the game over the past few months, so naturally Xbox 360 fans are anxious to get a hold of it. Let’s hope the wait won’t be too much longer.
