Battlefield 3

THE BUZZ: A massive Battlefield 3 patch is set to release for PlayStation 3 tomorrow, March 27, with Xbox 360 and PC versions to follow soon after.

DICE explains: “This patch includes many gameplay tweaks and balances; several suggested by you. The full list of changes and updates is as follows. This update will also bring the “Rent a Server” functionality to Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.”

The huge list of patch notes can be found here.

EGM’s TAKE: As promised, DICE has finally delivered the gigantic Battlefield 3 patch it has been working on for the past few months. Many fans became agitated and angry at the lack of support and communication from the development team. This should keep them all happy for a little while. The list of changes is just astronomical, if you had any issue with the game then there’s a good chance that it’s now been fixed. We’re not quite sure why the Xbox 360 and PC versions of the patch have been delayed, but they shouldn’t be too far behind.
