Jimmy Fallon is hosting a “video game week” on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, where he features one upcoming title each night that you might have seen during our E3 2012 coverage last week. Since Fallon works out of New York City at NBC’s famous 30 Rockefeller Center and couldn’t realistically attend E3 all the way in Los Angeles, he’s having the developers come to him.
On Monday, his show devoted some time to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, following up with Halo 4 last night. During the rest of the week, Fallon will also get to play The Last of Us, Madden 13, and the Nintendo Wii U.
343 Industries’ Josh Holmes, the studios’ creative director, was on-hand to walk Fallon through the same gameplay segment seen in Microsoft’s E3 press conference, which showcased the new heads-up display, “Promethean” enemies, and the new Light Rifle weapon.
Looking at the gameplay footage, it’s pretty obvious that they had Fallon on “God Mode” for the demo. Check the video below and see how badly he panics when faced with the first Promethean Knight.
