Master Reboot reloads February release to March 4

Posted on February 21, 2014 AT 11:31am

Master Reboot, a first-person sci-fi horror and puzzle game from Wales Interactive, will arrive on PlayStation 3 March 4, the developer announced today.

The release date announcement also came saddled with an obligatory launch trailer (embedded).

In the world of Master Reboot, when people die, their consciousness is uploaded to a giant server called the Soul Cloud. Players begin the game, which clocks in at between five to eight hours according to managing director David Banner, on an unfamiliar beach within the Soul Cloud with no memories of who they are or how they died. From there, it’s a sci-fi mystery story about uncovering your lost memories.

“Using elements of psychological horror, Master Reboot will not only present a new vision of life after death, but also bring fear and disturbing imagery into its digital world,” Banner wrote in a post on the PlayStation blog.

Upon viewing this here new trailer, I must say my interest’s been piqued. Between this, TitanfallinFamous, and everything else lined up for March, it’s going to be a hella-good month.
