Max Payne 3 To Suffer Painful Memories Thanks to New DLC

Rockstar today announced Painful Memories, a new DLC pack coming soon to Max Payne 3 that revives elements from the series’ past.

Painful Memories will bundle together four new multiplayer maps, one of which being the Roscoe Street Subway—a map based on a location from the original Max Payne. Along with that, players can battle it out at Marty’s Bar, Canal de Panamá, or a fourth map titled Shoot First (which takes place “on the posh Branco family yacht”).

Also included in Painful Memories are two new assault rifles—the IMG 5.56 and the UAR-21—along with new avatars, items, and a new ability: the Hangover Burst. Using the Hangover Burst “causes enemies to respawn with blurred vision, reduced stamina and health.”

Painful Memories hits for all Max Payne 3 players on December 4th. It’ll be 800 MS Points on the Xbox 360, $9.99 on PS3 and PC, and free for you Rockstar Pass members out there.
