Press Play’s side-scrolling platformer Max: Curse of Brotherhood is set to release tomorrow, December 20 on Xbox One, Microsoft has announced.
The game will be available via the Xbox Games Store and will cost $14.99. Players must guide protagonist Max through a number of puzzles to save his younger brother. Puzzle-solving and dealing with enemies is done via Max’s Magic Marker, which can be used to manipulate objects in the environment.
“What we’ve created is an evolution of the old school platformers we grew up playing and loving, we are so proud to release Max: The Curse of Brotherhood,” said game director Mikkel Thorsted. “When we started it was our goal to make something that would be fun for everyone, and it’s our sincere hope that players find great joy in adventuring through Max’s world.”
Back in August Microsoft announced that the game had been delayed until early 2014. Max: Curse of Brotherhood is also set to release on Xbox 360 at a later date.
