A new month means new free games for PlayStation Plus members, with May boasting some particularly good adventures.

There are two free games for each of the three active PlayStation platforms—PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. Tales from the Borderlands and Abzû are heading May’s lineup as the PS4 titles, and each games’ unique take on adventuring can be checked out in the new PS Plus trailer.

While PS4 players may have lucked out, the free PS Plus games for the older platforms are no less worthy of players’ attention:

  • Blood Knights – PS3
  • Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants – PS3
  • Laser Disco Defenders – PS Vita (Cross-buy with PS4)
  • Type:Rider – PS Vita (Cross-buy on PS4)

If six free games just isn’t enough PlayStation for some fans, new PlayStation Store discounts are cutting costs for major Tom Clancy titles this week—including Ghost Recon Wildlands and The Division—with some other exclusive discounts available for PS Plus subscribers.

Nick didn’t start gaming until mid-2006. Once his parents finally allowed a console into the house, it was all uphill from there. Starting out with a PS2, he grew an affinity for Sony consoles and moved on to the PS3, and now the PS4. He keeps his gaming palette wide, but, gun to his head, he’d have to say shooters are his genre of choice. Find him on Twitter @idole808
