Sony has announced that Sir Daniel Fortesque, star of the PS1-era MediEvil series, and Nariko, heroine of Ninja Theory’s 2007 PS3 title Heavenly Sword, will be playable in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Both characters were outed in July’s roster leak, so this is more an official confirmation than anything else.

Alongside the reveal, Gamespot has released a gameplay video featuring the pair duking it out with two other recently announced characters, the evil variation of inFamous‘ Cole MacGrath and Metal Gear Solid‘s Raiden.

Given that Sir Daniel and Nariko were the last two unconfirmed stragglers from the leak, this announcement means any future roster additions will be actual surprises. Imagine that!
