Call of Duty

Activision has released five new introduction videos for Call of Duty: WWII‘s Divisions.

Divisions are a reimagining of the series’ create-a-class system and allow players to choose from five iconic World War II divisions—Airborne, Mountain, Infantry, Armored, and Expeditionary—each with specific division training and division weapon skills.

“This streamlined approach to Multiplayer gives players the ability to reinforce their individual play styles while dominating the enemy in some of the most iconic locations of the world’s largest conflict,” Activision adds.

First up, the Airborne Division are the first to the fight and come armed with a silenced M3 Submachine Gun and smoke grenades that confuse and distract enemies.

Next is the Mountain Division, described as the most elite unit in the allied forces. Players who choose this Division will specialize in death from a distance with the M1903 Rifle. For when things get a little too close for comfort, Mountain Division fighters have a little surprise for the enemy in the form of the Bouncing Betty.

The Infantry Division are extremely versatile and will fight in mid to close range engagements using the M1 Garand Rifle and its attached Bayonet. As well as this rifle, Infantry Division soldiers are equipped with the 1911 Pistol and MK.II Grenades.

The fourth choice available to players is the Armored Division, heavily armored fighters whose job it is to engage and destroy the enemy with explosives and the Light Machine Gun.

Finally, the Expeditionary Division specialize in sabotage and covert operations, and are armed with incendiary rounds and shotguns.

Call of Duty: WWII launches November 3rd, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
