The first six NES Mega Man games (1-6) are coming to Nintendo’s North American eShop, starting with the original Mega Man this month, on December 27.
Next in line is Mega Man 2, set to be released February 7, 2013. The remaining four Mega Man games will follow throughout 2013. These are Virtual Console titles, mind you—straight ports of the original, classic 8-bit Mega Mans without any of that fancy 3D jazz.
In addition, the fan-inspired mashup Street Fighter X Mega Man is now available for download on PCs. Just a heads up, though: Capcom Unity is getting slammed with traffic, so don’t be surprised if the download link fails to load.
