Mega Man Creator Releases A New Game, We Wish It Was Mega Man

Keiji Inafune isn’t working on new Mega Man titles, and his latest game is a cruel reminder of what could’ve been. His newest work J.J. Rockets appears to be a mix of several awesome ideas into one game.
As Siliconera reports, Inafune’s new mobile offering puts you in the role of the President of the United States, who looks like a cross between Mega Man, Captain America, Viewtiful Joe, and the Rocketeer.
Also like Mega Man, this Android and iOS title is a side-scrolling shoot-’em-up platformer adventure that pits the titular politician against huge bosses with uniquely-themed powers.
Sadly, you can’t play this game without a Japanese account in Mobage, a collective app platform that houses several other mobile games under its content umbrella. Hopefully, a localized release is somewhere in the works for the rest of us.
