Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

THE BUZZ: Video Game critics the world over have welcomed Modern Warfare 3 with open arms, heaping praise on Infinity Ward’s latest entry with an average score of 88 on Metacritic, however the user reviews haven’t been so kind.

At the time of writing Modern Warfare 3 currently sits on a 2.3/10 average rating with 21 positive, 3 mixed and 80 negative reviews. Some of the reviews can be found below:

“Critics say one thing. People who paid 60$ for the game say otherwise… Trust me. This is not worth your time. Skyrim and Assassin’s Creed are coming out soon so get those.”

“Modern Warfare 3 just feels old already. i was very hyped for this game i found a way to get it early unfortunately my pain staking efforts were in vain when i played it i really wish am not trying to sound like a troll. but the game is boring now and especially in multi player where they have not fixed anything from MW2 i suggest you don’t buy this game.”

EGM’s TAKE: This is not the first time that a major release has been hit hard by negative user review scores, which aren’t even realistic, hopefully Metacritic will find a way to weed out these reviews.
