Metal Gear Rising Box Art: A Faceful of Raiden

Because critiquing box art is all the rage right now, I present for your scrutiny the North American box art for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Every time I write “revengeance” a little piece of me dies. Lost two pieces just now. However, I know no one really cares what this game is called—all Metal Gear Solid enthusiasts really care about is that they finally get to play a cybernetic ninja and rip the spines from metal gears. And cut off people’s appendages. Quite honestly, the whole game looks like a lot of mayhem liberally soaked in a blood mist.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (ugh … ) is set to hit North American shelves February 19, 2013.
