Kojima Productions has announced the official release date for the new Metal Gear Solid 4 patch that will add full trophy support to the game.

The patch launches August 6 and will add 34 trophies to the four year old game, it will also add the ability to fully install the game removing the annoying installation times between chapters. A new version of MGS4 will be released this fall containing both of these patches, for those who don’t already own the game.
