See 10 Minutes Of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, Some Gameplay Too
Posted on September 1, 2012 AT 03:50pm
Kojima Productions and Konami have released a 10-minute trailer for the recently announced Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, with a long cutscene and some short gameplay. Big Boss looks good for his age.
It’s unknown what build the footage is being gathered from, but the game is assumed to be a PS3 and Xbox 360 title.
Most of the video is a cutscene establishing the introduction of several characters, ending in the reveal of Big Boss, also known as “Naked Snake” from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
During the final part of the trailer, some brief gameplay is shown, displaying rain and lighting effects.
Ground Zeroes is the first game to run on the new “Fox Engine”, Kojima Productions’ custom system.
No release date was announced, but this title is a 25th anniversary celebration of the Metal Gear series. Considering the first Metal Gear released in 1987, that would make 2012 the target release year, but that’s nitpicking.
