Metal Gear Solid Movie Stars Solid Snake, Kojima On Board in Supervisory Role

Hideo Kojima has revealed that the Metal Gear Solid movie, which is being directed by Avi Arad through Sony Pictures, will feature Solid Snake and not Big Boss.

Speaking at the Eurogamer Expo earlier today, Kojima said that he is not directing or writing the film, but has instead opted for a supervisory role. He also mentioned that at one point he and Arad considered casting Hugh Jackman for the role of Snake, but have instead decided to go with someone who is unknown.

Kojima added that he wants the actor who plays Snake to make a name for himself using the film rather than having someone who is already established.

Who do you think should play Snake? Let us know in the comments below.
