THE BUZZ: Konami has announced the official release date of Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D on the 3DS.

The game will release March 8, featuring re-imagined gameplay and a new camouflage photography system, which allows you to take pictures of items and dress Snake in a similar color.

EGM’s TAKE: Snake Eater could be a tipping point for the 3DS. If such a massive game can make a smooth transition then it could spell good things for the handheld’s future.
