Update: The official trailer has now been released. You can check it out below.
Original Story: It appears that Konami has flipped the switch a little early for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain‘s E3 2014 trailer, but who are we to complain.
The trailer appeared on Konami’s official YouTube channel, before quickly being taken back down. Luckily, this being the Internet, it was re-uploaded several times following this. Presumably the publisher intended to release the trailer after it was shown at E3.
It opens with a bloody Big Boss walking through a field of dead soldiers, and then switches to him standing in front of rows of coffins, filled with members of his unit the Diamond Dogs. The action then switches to Revolver Ocelot training several soldiers his coveted hip firing technique. I won’t spoil the rest of the trailer, you can check it out below.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is in development for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, ad Xbox One.
