Konami has detailed its next big update for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
The update, which will arrive on August 1st, introduces Revolver Ocelot as a playable character in FOB (Forward Operating Base) infiltration missions. Players will be unable to customize the character’s look, but Ocelot has a slightly increased camouflage value, reloads and draws his weapons faster, and can also use ricochet bullets on marked enemies.
As well as a new character, the update also adds a higher-grade Wormhole Generator that will automatically extract the player when in a critical situation and makes it harder to destroy.
Finally, the update adds new swimsuits for FOB staff and Goblin and Megaloden suits for Diamond Dogs soldiers that increase movement speed, but offer no camouflage effect.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
