A new update is now available for Metal Gear Survive that introduces a new type of co-op mission called Rescue Missions.

The aim of these new Rescue Missions is to evacuate Charon Corps survivors who have gone missing after failing a Salvage Mission. Players must secure a safe escape route while taking on hoards of enemies.

The update also kicks off a new Rescue Mission event called “The Captive Ferrymen.” Players can take part in the event to earn standard co-op rewards, as well as Battle Points (BP) which will unlock other rewards.

Other changes in the update include controller customization options, a new plan for Base Camp Dig, enhancement items for weapons and gears, and a number of bug fixes and balance changes.

Metal Gear Survive is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
